Hughes Family Reunion

This year was the first ever Hughes Family Reunion, we decided to go to Yuba Lake to camp for a few days and boat, besides a few minor mishaps like not knowing we had to reserve a camp site and getting the last campsite available, not having enough Ice and people forgetting things here and there, having the camp employees get mad at us every day for having to many cars, having the 4-wheeler and ranger down by the lake etc., etc. it was a lot of fun. It definitely was a learning experience but I am already excited for next year.

It is so nice to have cousins around because I don't see my kids for hours (don't worry I check on them) anyways it is a nice break for Matt and I.

For the most part we had no cell phone reception. It was nice to be able to have Matt all to myself with no annoying cell phone interrupting us every 5 seconds. Yes I have a love hate relationship with that phone.
Even with a dirty face he is still as cute as ever.

Me on the other hand am getting better. Last year I tried a million times and could not get up, this year my first try I got it. Oh ya I was excited.

We did tons and tons of swimmingSome of the cousins on the famous tube. This tube is impossible to flip over but some how Tim got the front of it to go under when Tyler, Wendi and I were riding it, Wendi and I went under the tube, yes under life jacket and all and I swear I was under water for what seemed like for ever. I almost started to panic (okay I am not going to lie, I did panic) because I couldn't get up from under it. Wendi and I survived after drinking about half the lake and Tyler was the lucky one that some how stayed on. Tylers wife Karen (my sista) said that she was starting to get worried for us because Tim was not being nice at all to us. When the ride was over I couldn't even undo my life jacket because my arms were so sore and still are to this day. I can't even lift my kids, put lotion on, let alone wipe down the counter. Yep I am sore, sore, sore. For some reason I went all weekend without taking pictures of tubing.

Tyler brought a fishing pole and was nice enough to let all the kids have a turn. Brodyn loved it.

My kids were so worn out by the time we left. Brodyn fell asleep before we even hit the road. Yes I know that they both have dirty faces but what can I say we had not showered for two days.

I love getting together with all the family, we have so much fun. It is so nice to have a family that gets along so well, a family that you can count on and a family that you can trust. Thanks for all the fun, I love you guys.
