Mothers Day

"Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn't know you had and dealing with fears you never knew existed."

I never knew that becoming a mother would come with so many different emotions: scared, hard, stressful, feeling of failure, enjoyable, happy, never knowing I could love that much and so much more.  I've learned more these last nine years but have also never feared so much in my life. Just like the quote above said. I love these boys more than words can say and I hope they always know that and can feel the love I have for them.

These men who made us mothers made us a delicious mothers day breakfast. We have made some of the best friends since we moved here and are so glad we get to spend time with them.

I love all the homemade gifts I get from my boys. I keep them all and love to look at them through out the year.

"Being a Mother is not about what you gave up to have a child, but what you've gained from having one."

I know I always complain to Matt about how hard being a mother is but I wouldn't change it for the world and I feel so blessed to be able to have four amazing healthy boys call me mom. They teach me so much every single day.

Motherhood is not a hobby, it is a calling. You do not collect children because you find them cuter than stamps. It is not something to do if you can squeeze the time in. It is what God gave you time for."

Between cleaning, nursing, teaching, photographer, stylist, party planner, hostess, chef, shopper, taxi driver and many more, I hope my boys know that I will always have time for them, I will always have time to listen to them, to love them and to just be there for them.
