Easter always seems to be such a busy holiday. So many activities and fun places to be. We started out with a little Easter egg hunt at the park by our house with the Play group we go to.
We then headed up to Idaho to spend Easter Sunday with our families.
We dyed Easter Eggs really late one night with Grandma and Grandpa Hughes.
Easter morning
I didn't take our Easter baskets hoping my mom had some but she had gave hers away so we used bowls instead. The boys didn't even notice.
I had to get a picture with Stihl and his eggs Easter morning because he was already in bed before the picture taking began the night before.
This boy loves to eat. A little Chocolate with Bananas. A very nutritious Easter breakfast
We headed over to Grandpa and Grandma Mortensens house after General Conference for a yummy meal and a Easter Egg hunt.
Most of the Mortensen cousins ready and waiting patiently to start the Easter Egg hunt.
I love to celebrate all the worldly ways for Easter but I always make sure our boys are aware of what Easter is really about. Jesus's death and resurrection and because of him and his unselfishness for us all, I can be with my family forever and for that I am eternally grateful.
