Christmas Fun

Our Christmas fun started by decorating the tree. I put my OCD aside and let the boys decorate the tree all by themselves. It was so hard for me not to move every ornament to a different spot but they had so much fun and besides I'm sure in a few years I will be begging them to help me.

Next up was Brodyn and Dredyns Christmas Sing Program

I couldn't get any closer for Brodyn but he is up on the top row.

Of course we had to have our traditional Ginger bread house competition.

Yes my team won again.

Christmas Eve

We headed over to Tim and Wendi's for a delicious dinner.

After dinner we headed home to start a new tradition that I grew up with. Our boys drew names and had to buy a gift for that person. They loved it. 

Diesel had Stihl

Dredyn had Diesel

Brodyn had Dredyn

Stihl had Brodyn

The boys also got to open their gift from Grandpa and Grandma Hughes, which was new pajamas.

Matt and I opened the gifts that the boys made us at school

Cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer

And then Santa finally came

Christmas morning

Brodyn asked Santa for a kindle

Dredyn asked for a new gun

Diesel asked for a hoover ball

Stihl got some blocks

Matt and I gave the boys this bike to share

New Christmas outfits

This was Stihls first Christmas and he made it so much fun.

We then headed out to shoot Dredyns new gun

After shooting we headed home to have lunch and the boys played away with their new toys. We love Christmas but I always try my best to not let it be all about the gifts but about our saviors birth, "He is the reason".
