Our Christmas started out by going to Brodyns school and watching him in two programs. The first was only his class and they put on, "The Wizard of Oz Christmas", Brodyn was one of the narrators and had a bunch of speaking parts. He did awesome at remembering all of them.
The second program was his whole entire school. Each class sang a Christmas song and then they all sang some songs together.
Brodyn was chosen to be the rock and roll Snowman. He came into the gym jamming out and caught every ones attention. He did awesome and was really funny.
We went and saw Santa three different times and every time Diesel hated him.
Sunday before Christmas in our Christmas best.
I am one lucky girl to have so many handsome boys to surround myself with.
Yes I know I am not in Christmas colors but this pregnant body isn't liking any of my clothes right now.
We made Gingerbread houses the Monday before Christmas.
Christmas Eve is spent at my parents house. We have a big dinner, play games and open presents.
Grandpa and Grandma always give the grandkids new p.j.s to wear.
Almost all of the cousins on the Hughes side. We are only missing 5 little boys. It's crazy and hectic when we get them all together but it is so fun at the same time.
I had to post this picture because Gracie hates all women besides her grandmas and her mom. Lately she is warming up to me really fast and I actually got her to sit by me and take a picture.
Leaving cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. And yes Brodyn made a bracelet for Santa.
Christmas morning
Santa gave the boys a gun for Christmas. Yes a real gun. I was really nervous at first but they are extremely careful and very good with it.
New Christmas outfits for everyone
Santa even gave Diesel a gun
and Matt one also
Christmas Evening was spent at Matts parents house. Grandma and Grandpa gave all the grandkids quiet books. They were quiet for about five minutes and then they remembered that there were more presents to open. My kids have loved these books and use them all the time.
We love Christmas time. It is a nice break from all the hustle and bustle and allows us to really dwell on the real meaning of Christmas. The birth of our Savior, who plays a very important role in our daily lives. We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas.
