Matts Grandpa passed away from injuries he received in a car accident on his way home from Idaho to Kansas. We are so glad that we got to spend those last few days with him and that he got to see all his grandkids and especially Matts mom one last time. We are so glad that he made the trip to see Mack and Taylor get married in the temple. As we said our goodbyes to him that Sunday evening, he told everyone that "This was his last trip to Idaho". He was such a great guy, according to the bishop he was very generous, he was a great example and was loved by everyone.
All packed and ready to go.
Diesel cried for the first 6 hours. Made the 16 hour drive seem endless.
Matts grandpas hobby was restoring tractors. He has endless amounts of tractors and tractor parts. People would come in from all over to check out his tractor collection.
This tractor is one of the tractors Matts mom gets to bring home.
We are sad to say goodbye to a great man, but we are so happy that he is finally reunited with his wife and little boy.

We tried to not make the whole trip a sad trip, but it was hard to loose someone you love in such a horrible way and not be sad. The kids had a blast swimming in Matts aunt and uncles pool.
We broke the trip back home into two and Diesel was a much happier traveler, as was mom and dad.
We love and miss you Grandpa Seger and we can't wait for the day we see you again.
