Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas

Christmas was so fun this year. Brodyn and Dredyn are at an age where every holiday is so exciting for them. I love to see the joy in their faces and to hear their little giggles when they get excited. We were excited to actually be home this year in our own house, close to our families. Christmas Eve was spent at my parents house, Christmas day lunch was at Matts parents house then it was back to my parents for a little Christmas dinner and then finally home to enjoy the loads of toys that Santa brought. Christmas is always a very busy holiday but I am glad that we had time to take off to Salt Lake and show our kids temple square and be able to teach them the real meaning of Christmas.

Picture with Santa and no tears, yea.

Christmas Jammies from Grandpa and Grandma Hughes

This picture was taken at our house later that night when Diesel woke up. You will notice that Diesel is not in a bunch of pictures due to the fact that I am limited to his happy time and he is usually crying or just being plain ornery.

Opening their stockings
Present from daddy

Present from mommy

A few presents just because. I usually take a picture of all the presents they get but this year I decided that it doesn't matter what present or how many presents they get, just as long as they are happy and understand why we celebrate Christmas.

Present from mommy and daddy
Santa spoiled Matt this year.
All ready for Church in their new outfits, 9 o'clock church might I add.
Yes this is how Dredyn smiles in most of his pictures. But these are three handsome boys no matter what face they are making.

Poor little Diesel had to wait until after church to open his presents. I wasn't about to wake him up to join in on the fun. I know mean but if he is going to sleep then I am going to let him sleep.

Again waiting so patiently to open presents

We love the towels from Grandpa and Grandma Mortensen
After a full day of going, going none stop and they are still as happy as can be.

Temple Square

I think that the boys were most excited about staying in a hotel and going swimming.

Of course a quick stop to Cabellas

I am sad that the Christmas Holiday is over. I love the spirit that it brings into our home and all the celebrating that we get to do, but I am excited for 2012 and to see what the year has to bring us.
