Dino Museum

On Saturday we ( well I ) wanted to do something fun as a family. We let Brodyn pick what we were going to do and he wanted to go to a dinosaur museum. After leaving the house at 11:00 and Matt doing work related things until 4:00 ( I wasn't very happy) we finally made it to the Museum. Tim and Jax meet us there, the kids and I had a good time, Tim and Matt on the other I am not so sure they did. The boys Matt, Brodyn, Dredyn, Jax and Tim.

Brodyn, Jax and Dredyn. It looks like Brodyn is pulling Dredyns hair but he isn't I promise.

They had a little water area where the kids could cover the dinosaurs and build homes for them and pretty much just make a mess. Jax wasn't sure what to do, I pretty much had to stick his hands in the water and make him play.

Brodyn and Dredyn loved the water they didn't want to leave.

They also had a play area with all sorts of dinosaurs and puzzles and books. Brodyn could have stayed and played for hours.

It must be SUMMER

Wendi and I were home visiting one weekend and we all got ready and look what happened. We all just happenend to put yellow on ( not planned). I think we were really anxious for the nice weather and for summer to come.

Grandpa's Cows

Everytime we go to Grandpa Mortensen's we have to go and see the cows. Brodyn is just like his dad and loves the farm and everything about it. Dredyn wasn't sure what to think about them.

This one must have thought that Brodyn tasted good. He wouldn't leave him alone. It was pretty funny.

Swimming with Brittany and Brayden

Brittany had a dance competition in Clearfield a few weeks ago and we took advantage of the swimming pool at the hotel. Who wouldn't when your kids love to swim. Most kids aren't very happy when they get done swimming, but Dredyn of course was as happy as could be.

The only time that Dredyn would cry when he was in his baby float. Brodyn of course had a blast torturing him.

Easter

Easter this year was spent in Idaho. I love the fact that we are only 4 hours away instead of across the United States and the Ocean. I no longer have to cry when I call home on holidays and hear everyone laughing and having a good time. Here are the boys with their Easter baskets. Brodyn I must say was a little spoiled by the Easter Bunny this year. Here I am trying to get a good picture of them in their Easter outfits.

And again I try but finally gave up. At least I got a few good ones.

Torture at the Dentist

Brodyns favorite thing to do is chip his front tooth and I am not kidding we have been to the dentist 4 times to have it fixed. This particular time we decided to try out the gas, not such a good idea. Brodyn freaked and cried the whole time. Poor kid, doesn't he look like he has been tortured or what?

Jr. Miss

My little sister participated in Jr. Miss and we had the chance to go and watch her. It was so fun to be with all of our family and watch Emma do her thing up on stage. You did such a good job Emma. We are all very proud of you.

Jax's Birthday !!!!

We had the chance to go to swimming for Jax's birthday party in March (Yes I know clear back in March). Brodyn and Dredyn loved the pool and the water and poor birthday boy Jax hated it. He cried anytime Wendi or Tim put him down. He actually ended up falling asleep in the pool while Wendi was holding him. Thanks for inviting us Jax, your cousins had a blast!!
